Title: Pagoda drawing for 2014 I prefer
Post by: Flyair on March 04, 2014, 03:39:47
Maitre Paul Bracq doesn't lose a bit of his crisp lines...

Here is the one I like a lot

Purist may come up with remarks that tyres seem to be incorrect, no wipers etc... but think that it is a Mechatronic tuned Pagoda...

Nice one Stan, I'll get a T-Shirt made from that :)

Where did you find that one? Did Paul B. just paint this one?

I'd love to say that Maitre Bracq did that one for me as sign of amitié franco-polonaise. While this is not the case.... yet, I am working on that  :D

I cannot tell you where I found it. Not because I have to keep my sources secret, but quite frankly I have no recollection whatsoever...

Gentlemen,

Reproduction of an artist's work without permission to do so, is not legal in most countries. It doesn't matter if you are making a "one off" T-shirt, distributing the art in some fashion such as digital, or printed copies, or making a profit or not. Anyone wishing to reproduce Mr. Bracq's artwork such as that presented here, would best contact Atelier Bracq: http://www.paulbracq.com/en/

As a matter of recent principles, whereas once Mr. Bracq was not so concerned with images of some of his paintings being posted on websites, for example, today with the "family business" of the above web link, his concern is a bit greater. If you have an image such as the one posted here by Stan, let me suggest that anyone interested in doing something (other than looking) with it such as posting it, copying it, downloading it, or putting it on a T-shirt seek permission as a matter of respect and as a matter of law.

Michael, Thanks for this ... naturally I do understand and if I should produce a one off T-Shirt I will definitely first ask for permission that goes without question.

Mike

wise words. I would not think of using it on anything, although you may maintain that it is still for your own, not commercial use. But am in full agreement with the principle.
