Title: Front Bumper Plate
Post by: Randy S on February 13, 2014, 20:43:13
Often I see an 18 inch white plate on the front bumper of a Pagoda that says something like "1966 MB 230SL"  Where can I get on of those?

Randy,

That is basically a "fake" European vanity plate. You can get them at any number of places, in a variety of countries and styles. Here's one for you:

I got mine years ago, German, "1969 280SL" to basically answer the question, "What year is it?" and "What model is it?" hoping that they see the 3-point star and can guess the make.  ;)

Thank you so much.  I called them and ordered one today and just got an email that it shipped.  Thanks for making me realize not to put the MB on it.
