Hi,
Few minutes ago I noticed a strange listing on italian listings site:
http://www.subito.it/auto/mercedes-benz-280-anni-70-modena-83184527.htm
The price for nice looking 280SL is only 12.800€. Could anybody explain me where is a trick here ?
Why didn't he list it for e.g. 30k€ ? it would be also worth watching and thinking about.
May anyone recognizes this car ? Maybe it still resides in the US ?
I'm a little bit confused about such low price.
Thanks in advance for smart suggestions...

Not sure about how to explain the low price, but the worrying thing is that the owner lists the car as W123....

Right but funny is what italian brothers calling as PAGODA:

Best would be to ask the seller if you can come and see the car (even if you won't). If it's a scam he will come with some excuses.

Yes, but it can also be a trap for the gulls. They may collect e-mail addresses and telephone numbers of the wealthier men.
The whole ad is calculated is to take the money in your pocket and go buy it quickly "before it's too late".
I don't really know what's up (especially if there is qiute similiar: http://www.subito.it/auto/porsche-356-c-anni-60-roma-83190721.htm ). Here is "Francesco" without telephone number given. ??? ??
