Title: Should you ever be near Stuttgart, Germany .... Don't miss .....
Post by: Rolf-Dieter ✝︎ on January 24, 2014, 01:21:19
...... to take a 1 1/2 hour drive south to Singen ... there you find Auto-Salon and some great cars inside :) like this 280 SL (expect the prices to be sky high) never the less it's like being in a candy store.

Meanwhile take the 360 tour it is fun to do on a rainy afternoon (or windy winter day like we are having here with wind-chill our temp goes to -40 C that is also -40 F) ...

Here is the site ---> http://www.autosalon-singen.de/en/startmix.html

I like what they say about "Oldtimer & Youngtimer"  Advantages in there opening web page.

The 360 tour is real fun you get to jump inside some of the cars and look around ... quite nicely made. I spotted one nice Pagoda 280SL inside ... there are more.

Stuttgart, besides being a Mecca for every Mercedes Benz owner with the mandatory visit to the MB museum, it appears as a very interesting alternative to the Essen exhibition. Strangely enough, the Stuttgart exhibition is also in March, which cannibalises the experience a bit.

I'm trying to spot obvious "errors" on that 230SL, except for the fuel cap and the über yellow engine department.. It just looks a little tad too perfect.
