the SL is a very nice Italian version

Very cool to see others valuing the W108. Beautiful photography. I think the two cars look fabulous together and both are strikingly similar to mine . Has given me a bit of motivation this morning!

Yes indeed, this version is italian but with tacho in MPH and a cool wood finished "A" pillars.
I noticed also that the photos come from two different sessions.
On frist 2 pics this 250SL has "baroque" alloys and later is standing on correct steel wheels with chroms (or left side on "baroque" and the right side on steels ;)).
Anyway, both the cars and photos - simply breathtaking !!!

Keith (Desert Pagoda),
These cars are fabulous. Haven't spoken for a while. Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated the article.
BTW, the Europa II is great.
