Title: Clamp: from Pagoda?
Post by: mdsalemi on January 07, 2014, 18:43:57
Came across this clamp in a sealed bag, along with a bunch of older, used Pagoda parts that my uncle had with my car. I don't recognize it; do you?

I am no expert, but it looks similar to a satellite dish or tv antenna pole fixing and clamp……

I would be surprised if it were from a pagoda, but am happy to eat my hat if proven otherwise.

Does look like something as you say, but having been in a box of Pagoda parts want to make sure...

Michael,
Is the nuts/bolt in mm and fine threads?  This would be a dead give a way.  If it is some sort of pole attachment, most likely in American standards size threads and nut heads.

Looks like Charles nailed it.  Its an antenna mast clamp of some kind, not up to MB standards. ;D

In the trash it just went.

It did have a fine plating job to have lasted these decades…even in a bag. It did have fine threads. If it wasn't recognizable to anyone here, then it was junk. Many thanks!
