I've told the other half a full engine bay detailing and complete new interior is going to cost around £2k.

My wife and I have a "Don't ask - Don't tell" agreement and she gets really nice Christmas presents.

I bought my second Pagoda for my wife for our 20th wedding anniversary in her favourite colour, blue, automatic so she can drive it and to ensure it is absolutely reliable, overhauled the engine and engine bay all restored and also now to match, doing the interior and a new soft top. :o

And she does get to drive it sometimes ;D

I told her it could be worse, I could get her a new chainsaw to replace the one I purchased 10 years ago for her Xmas present!!!!!!!

Mind you the ear rings she bought me for my birthday just don’t match the car.

I would like to ask if you had the good reflex to propose to your wife that she joins our group and registers on the forum ???
Since your Significant Half owns a Pagoda... as  Board Member, you should show a good example in attracting new group members I guess??? ;D ;D ;D

My wife has called my Pagoda a boat on land, because in ownership of a boat, it is just throwing money in the water.  However, after tens of thousands of dollars spent on restoring NOW our Pagoda, she now realizes that I was the one right and the investment was a good one.  Now with that said, I names the Pagoda, I tell everyone that I spend all my money on "Booze and Cheap Women", thus the name of our Pagoda, BCW.
