It was, after almost 50 years of service, about time to renew all the rubber at the rear end. I also put in two new coil springs,
driveshaft bearing and rubber. It took me about three days, and a lot of muscular pain. I hope that I can take her out tomorrow for a testdrive.

Looks like a job well done Basil!
I've got all the new rubber in my trunk, waiting for a nice day to take it to our friendly nearby muffler shop (they did a nice job changing my shocks that I ordered beforehand). I just don't have the right envirement to do it myself in my garage :) Besides my wife would check on me every 15 minutes not good for my nerves if you know what I mean :)
Got all my new rubber bushings for the control arms and suspension from the California Classic Centre.

Rolf-Dieter, I know exactly what you mean.
Without the help of a carlift, it is not possible to do a proper job !
