if it was yours … how was the North Schleife ? :) Have any of you Europeans ever taken your Pagoda on the Nürburgring?

And the answer is I've not. Would love to but I'd need the circuit shut to cars that can go quickly. Or Sabine in a Transit

I think Sabine in a transit would be fun. I'd hate to see her shut out. No fun there, James.

About 25 years ago, I was driven by a Mercedes test driver in a Mercedes around the Nurburgring for two laps.  It was an unforgettable and unique experience.  Amazing how fast they can go and the control that they have.

Looks like a 111 Cab to me. ;)

Don't know about the red one with the open door.
The one between the white 280 SL and the 111C is an Adenauer (300d)

I'm pretty sure my dad drove it! I vaguely remember a story from when I was a kid about what I (to my eternal shame, called until I was 15) the Nuremberg ring! And he has a little medal from it!
