Title: Correct routing for B/U light switch wiring?
Post by: W14 on April 05, 2003, 22:54:30
Hi Group,

I am wondering if the wiring to the back-up light switch at the transmission is correct on my car: it exits the firewall near the clutch fluid hose, then goes underneath the trans., and comes up the right hand side to the switch on the right-top of trans.
Is this correct?

Mine was hanging below the gearbox as you say but I have now routed it 'over' the gearbox.
Don't know which is correct!

Thanks Naj,

I'll probably route mine that way as well - it will be a lot more protected that way.
