Came across this the other day and wondered if it would go the same way as the 300 sl replica?

A friend of mine sent me the same link. I was curious in the same vein regarding what Benz did with the Gullwing replicas. I did a quick search and there are a number of other types of replicas, some with Ford some with Chevy power. The one here appeared to be quite well engineered. Price of just shy of $500,000 US.
