Title: neutral safety switch cable at transmission

hello...ok new shift linkage busigs installed and new shift gate and bulb installed ...looking good.. now can anyone tell me where the neutral safety switch cable hooks to at the transmission? a picture would be awesome also if available... switch is all set and tested properly... cable just does not move when moving gear shift lever...??

Sometimes the cable just gets bent where it attaches to the transmission.  It hooks up on the linkage arm that the shift rod is hooked up to.  There is a small sheet metal support clip which supports it and it is attached to the transmission also. If the cable is not broken or rusted, you may be able to straighten it and it should work.

Hello Joseph,

Straighten the kink out in that wire cable. It should be straight. Lube it while your at it.
