Title: 1964 … 230 SL Chrome interior mirror
Post by: Rolf-Dieter ✝︎ on November 29, 2013, 22:33:04: I have a request for a friend of mine. He plans to purchase a used chrome interior mirror, he needs the following measurements to verify that he will get the correct mirror.

- Width and height of the mirror
- Thickness of the mirror
- Distance between the retaining plate and mirror top

Perhaps one of you has a 1964 … 230 SL and can confirm this measurements.

Now I was looking in my archive but I do not have a good pic of the center rearview mirror.

There _is_ only one typical chrome mirror for the 230 SL and early 250 SL; it's the one with the short arm, the one of the W111 Coupés, not with the long arm that the W111 sedans had.

I don't have the exact measurements but can get them for you over the weekend. But only in millimeters, not inches, since it is a Euro version mirror ... ;D

Along top of mirror 180mm
along the bottom of mirror 210mm
from top to bottom in middle 60cm
measurement from rear centre of mirror to top of fitting on car 100mm
