Here is a photo of another car owned by a local in addition to his W113 and W111.  I believe he has crashed it since I took this photo earlier in the year.  Don't know where he will get someone to correctly fix that.

pity the car was crashed, but the picture shows a line of absolutely fine and beautiful cars driven (at least as seen from the faces in the Gullwing) by very happy people...

Gary,

Sleeping Beauties in Brisbane, run by Wolf Grod will fix it. He has an international reputation, ie people from Europe send their cars to him for restoration - he is a Merc specialist. I have been there a couple of times and Bugattis, Gull Wings etc etc are common. He has won at Pebble Beach.

Hi George,

Thanks for that, I will pass info to him when I probably see him this weekend. Not sure how bad it was pranged but I heard it was a real mess.

Kombi still giving me some heartache with its hesitation and spluttering.  Have been replacing all the ignition wiring but awaiting a new coil to match up with the Petronics ignition I have fitted.  I have done everything else for the fuel.

don't forget to take a picture to two of the car (or actually all the three cars :)) Curious to know what really happened there...
