Title: E-type on the M40
Post by: pdc on October 18, 2013, 17:29:07
Was driving on the M40 between London and Birmingham yesterday and noticed an E type in my rearview mirror; just in time to take my BB to take these snapshots.
It was driving on the right lane for miles over 90 Mph effortless; well that is how it seemed and no smoke at all, nice to see . I missed my SL  ::)

I always like it when vintage cars are zipping along at higher speeds. On the highway I always take it up to the speed limit or slightly above.

Looks like he has a big dent in the near side front wing

Indeed,

I noticed that to when I looked at the pictures but wasn't sure.  Having a left side car driving on the right lane doesn't allow to stare too long ;) Unless I wanted mine to have a serious dent  ;D

yesterday I drove all the way from the Belgian coast to north of Amsterdam (Hoorn) and back, saw plenty of cars, to many actually but no oldtimers. It shows that the E-type in action on the M40 was indeed special.
