Yesterday the missus and I were out shopping. It was a cloudy day with some heavy rain. When we got back into the pagoda after about three hours, the car wouldn't start. Battery empty because I left the lights on. I hate it when that happens! Because I don't drive it enough I forgot the lights, which I had turned on while driving due to the bad weather even though it was daytime, don't automatically turn themselves off like in my modern cars.
Luckily we were parked close to a tire and shocks center and they jumpstarted it for us.
My wife promised she would remind me to turn the lights off every time we take it out now. Not really looking forward to that but it's better than getting stuck, I guess!

lights on buzzer

it saved me a few times initially. Eventually, because the buzzer is so annoying if it comes on, I always remember to turn the lights off.

Thanks, that's what I need to get clearly. I tried installing a generic Hella one many years ago but failed to figure out the proper wiring. I'll take another stab at it.
