my 69 280 SL came with the wrong black wipers. I am not sure which brand. I have ordered and received Bosch aluminum wiper blades. But I do not know how to assemble the black plastic mounting connecters to the wiper to the wiper arm. No instructions were included with the wipers. Can someone post a photo and or instructions on how this assembly goes together?
Thanks for assistance.

Lin,
Does this help? Don't think mine are Bosch.

Thanks David, but I am afraid not. I guess since no one has posted anything I will just experiment this weekend or early next week. I can't do the Williamsburg Pagoda meeting, but I am going to attend the Classics on the Green show at New Kent on Sunday with the Healey. I am going to take the wipers with me. Maybe I will spot something similar on a car there.
Thanks again,

Lin,
If you post some pictures of the parts you have, I may be able to see how you can connect it all up.
Here in Europe there are many slightly different connections available to fit "modern" wiper blades to the older type arms,
and some "universal" blades can come with a lovely set of lovely black plastic bits and bobs that end up littering the shelf !
Keep well

Paul,
Here is a photo. It looks like they give me some choices, but that is all I know. It would be great if you or anyone can help. Minor issue but I would like to install them correctly.

Hi Lin,
You need a "Hook" type adaptor, I suspect it is the one on the bottom right, but it is only shown in profile in your picture.
The hook of the arm either goes inside the adaptor, as shown on my wiper "A" with a grey standard Hook connector,
or if a "U" type adaptor is used, , universal wiper "B" then the U goes inside the Hook of the arm.
I suspect that your bottom right adaptor is possibly the one, in which case it should clip on the blade cross bar, and the Hook of the arm should either locate inside it, or around it. best to try the adaptor on its own on the arm to see if it will fit
I hope this is of some help, if not send some more pictures of the adaptors from another angle.
Keep well, and good luck

Lin
out of curiosity, what was the price of the Bosch set?

MB Classic Center will have them.

I got mine from Bud's Benz, $60 U.S. for the pair.
