Title: Pagoda on stamp
Post by: Flyair on August 05, 2013, 22:22:05
Who would believe that our Pagodas would be appreciated to the extent that they made it onto postal stamps. Although I doubt that there are any Pagodas in Grenada and especially Grenadines (beautiful Caribbean islands)  that issued that lovely stamp, but I think this is not a compulsory perquisite for printing stamps  ;)

Bought it recently for 2 pounds on eBay…
Hope you enjoy it...

Wonder why they used a two colour scheme on the car?

Perhaps that was supposed to be a highlight of the grass reflected in the shiny paint.

Of course, you know, Americans can get whatever they want on a US postage stamp: http://photo.stamps.com/Store/?source=si10985886

I bought this stamp on the UK eBay a few month ago. After your post, I checked the site of the seller and saw that he just sold the second one some 10 days ago. You can approach him directly if you wish to see if he has any left

You can find some interesting specimen on his page representing other MB stars, such as those ones below
