Looking for my old 280sl W113 1969
Hi,

I'm looking for a car I used to own and was wondering if anyone can help.

It was a 280sl 1969, blue with Silver hard top roof... W113

Reg number BAN124G

Located in Uk.

Was brought by its new owner last Month.

I brought a 280 sl 1969 last month, only it cannot be yours since my steering wheel is on the opposite side  ;D Why don't you post the VIN/Serial Number it might help to locate the new owner. Mind you not all are members of this forum here :)

Bump...

I was wondering if anyone can help me in my search to find a car I used to own.
I am looking to buy it back but need to locate it...

It's. 1969 280sl W113 merc

Blue in colour, current number plate is BAN124G

New owner brought in March.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Tommo - I'm really pleased you managed to trace the car (saw the thread on Pistonheads)- sounds like there was enough drama there for a movie.  You'll find lots of good quality advice here for getting it back on the road - best of luck.

Was she close to home or the other end of the country? Did you learn anything yet of the "missing years"?

Not sure where you are but I had some bodywork done - "normal" places - by Colin Ferns (stickandrudderman on here). Very happy with the work. He's in Richmond, Surrey
