Title: photos of dark brown carpet with bamboo upholstery 1969 280SL?

Hi, my wife and I are choosing the colour for a new carpet.  We have bamboo upholstery and had thought to use a mid range brown, however we also have a sample of dark brown carpet which my wife quite likes.  Has anyone got a photo of a combination of bamboo upholstery with dark brown carpet that they could post please?  I guess we are going to have to go with the multiloop which is correct for the age of the car.

I believe in many instances the carpet was actually lighter in color than the upholstery. I chose a darker carpet with the "bronze" seats for my car (the seat color is correct but the carpet color isn't). Maybe this will give you an idea on whether to go this route or not.

Hi Kevin, thanks for that, I like your combo and the first photo shows how the dark brown carpet looks in the back area, never mind the colour of the upholstery. I do think you are right though regards lighter carpet than the upholstery. Will keep chewing on this but starting to think bamboo carpet.

Hi Guys, thanks for that, i did find the right one.  i think the upholstery might be a shade light than mine but quite close.  What do you think of the colour combination?
