No, I'm not that old, and the name is S A L E M I not Saleme.  Mine has Sicilian origins; Saleme is Lebanese or similar.
Moreover, I'm in Michigan...

BTW Mike do you have any relatives here in Northern California? My 5th grader Shelby sits next to Anna Salemi (smart little stinker...)

I do have relatives in NoCal, but in the East Bay area.  They are NY transplants, and named Rizzo, not Salemi.
All of my known relatives with the name Salemi were in NY, with some moving to New England.

On a similar note, imagine my surprise one day, as I finished up an Economics class in Business School [oh so many years ago], and the class starts wondering why I'm famous.  Turns out in the acknowledgments of the text book, the author recognized one Michael Salemi for wisdom, guidance and all that rot.  Alas, it was not me.  http://www.unc.edu/depts/econ/profiles/salemi.htm
