Just a follow up reminder. Please be sure to take a look at the current issue of Pagoda Notes, as we continue to profile a very rare breed - original owners. The current issue is with 49er, and his   280 SL.

Johnny,

These are great stories and a great pleasure reading about the original owners.

I longest I have  owned one car is for 10 years and that was my first 280SL Pagoda.  I have an A Class that I have owned for 8 years and that is a long time for me for a 'modern' brought about from my wife making veiled threats on what would happen if I sold her "A". 

It is an amazing achievement that someone can have a car for more than 40 years and still get such pleasure from it after that time.

Thanks very much for putting these together.

John (49er) ... great history, photos and amazing that you bought a NEW Pagoda at such a young age.   I know Rolling Hills and PV very well ... that's where I make my Pagoda runs along the coast.
