Title: Solenoid Test

Hi all,

I am not sure if my double acting solenoid on the auto transmission is failing.

Can I test it applying battery power to it?

Ground to brown cables
Power to black to test kickdown first.
Power to white to test venturi switch.

Yes, you can test it this way, brown ground, the other two wires should move it either direction.
