Just came across the following video on leading UK fashion brand "Reiss" ' homepage.

Thanks,
My other half is now complaining....
"you have the car, the beard, the glasses, ....pity about the rest........"

Funny, stylish LONDON life with a German car.
-
My usual attire when I take my car out for a drive is Levis and a sweatshirt (in the winter at least, shorts and a tee shirt in the summer:-). Not too sure if that would be considered too stylish is this fellow's book :)

Did you notice he has a dent in the chrome at the nose of the car and a broken antenna? He should direct a little of his haberdashery budget to his pagoda!
-
Didn't look like it was running too well either. Style with no substance.

;D ;D ;D
I'd love to have a smidgen of this guys style but i'm just too damn unstylish and it would take up too much of my day to try to perfect it each day. Saying that his look is great with the car.

A typical "Seville Row or Madison Avenue" type advertising video, meant to make us think that they just followed him around and took a lot of short shots of him having a typical stylish day. He blew it when he forgot to wipe the Cappuccino mousse off his mustache at 1:07. Unfortunately, he or the "key grip" forgot to snip the threads that close the side vents on his new never-worn-before-this-video blazer at 1:36. It looks like they may have noticed it but hoped we wouldn't so they wouldn't have to re-shoot that scene. I say that because it looks to be open a little later at 2:30 as he gets up from a bench. Admittedly, he's young and thin enough to get away with it but if I did that, my butt would stick out a mile and the blazer side vents would be severely stressed. By the way, his pants have belt loops but he's not wearing a belt at 2:28. He looks uncomfortable all dressed up. He spends his time primping and pretending that's his car. Someone wasn't doing his job for there to be that many awkward scenes. The car is nice, however. Isn't criticizing fun?

Hey Andy,
We sent him back from Australia because he was a bit too much of a tosser for us. :D :D :D :o
Is that 'Australian Blunt' enough. :o :P
-
ever since those emails came out of the University of East Anglia, it is now fashionable to blow out that much exhaust

Andy,
that massive exhaust puff is because the guy said that he is rather overdoing than underdoing :)
don't show this video at your next MOT…. ;D

I recommend turning the sound down to 0, its easier to watch

Are we saying that this guy is a fake? :o :o :D
He doesn't look too relaxed when he is sitting on the car- Come on UK members, who's car is this really ?
Garry, he also implied that aussies are lazy. I think that is wrong ;D
-
I think most of the members here have 5 times the style this guy has; I know I do!
Seriously I used to wear loafers without sox, but these days I think it's not so cool anymore.
-
I would love to see this guy opening up the hood and doing some work on the engine with those stylish clothing, now THAT would be stylish :D
-
If he can't afford socks, he sure as he!! can't afford that car...
-
;D ;D :D very funny .
Keep up your points of view ...

This is an interesting subject. When I was working in Automotive Powertrain Research, my engineers used to say that you could tell when I was preparing to help them work under the hood. I would remove my suit coat and stick my tie between the top two buttons of my dress shirt. My wife could not understand why I had to dry-clean my clothes so often.
According to my boss, I really wasn`t supposed to get my hands dirty, but I couldn`t resist. Now that I`m retired, I`ve got more work clothes than dress clothes. I love it.

Shaun,
I gather that the guy as he is portrayed in the video doesn't fulfill your expectations. Are you saying that you want him to adopt some suggestive positions as he pretends doing some work under the hood??? ;D
-
Hey Stan,
I didn't think of it that way but never the less as exciting. ;D
-
I do have to agree with the previous observation that the man's side vents are still sewn up. He's not even wearing his own clothes and the piece is supposed to be about his style.....
