Saw this on Autoblog. Discuss after recovering from the shock.

Great and astounding. If produced by MB, I am sure it would become a legend car from start… The article says that the work for the resulting car is called the 300 SLC was "Commissioned by a client in Eastern Europe". I would be curious to know who that could be. So far nobody around here gives any sign where the happy and taste-aware client is located.

I must be missing something ! :-\
Only thing you and I are missing is the truck load of gold bars needed to buy one

If I had a truck load of gold bars I would try to stop her being made :-[
It's bad enough seeing women having their faces changed with cosmetic surgery, for the worst :'(
We are what we are, the Pagoda is what it is, a classic from the 60s, it doesn't neeeeeeed cosmetic surgery ;)
Neither should a 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC.

we need a thumbs down "dislike" emoticon.... That's hideous
And I LIKE the SLS!

Yikes! But destroying new cars is still preferable to altering classics like we've also seen here...
