Title: 1966 230SL Speedometer

I have the Speedo, Instrument Cluster and Tach out of this car and would like to remove the glass front on the Speedo to clean the glass.  The Cluster and Tach are nice and clean but the Speedo has a film of some kind of light film on the inside.  I think I did this on a 190Sl many years ago but I thought I'd ask about other's experience before doing this on the 230SL.  I didn't see anyhting in searching the forum that addressed this (although I may have missed it).

This has been discussed, use the search function, and use "speedometer glass" as the criteria. Don't limit by the topic. There should be a single page of results.
