I am looking for the forum members out there that are the original owners for their 113's. I know there are two here in California, any others?? I would like to get a PM from you, to do a couple of articles for upcoming Pagoda Notes. I am not sure exactly the questions I would ask, but items about why you bought, how you have used the car, restored, garaged for a time, long trips, other cars in your stable, other interesting cars along the way, and the like.
If you have them, would like to get some scans of any pictures you would deem of interest to our group.
Thanks in advance!

I'm taking advantage of this question to inquire about "medallions" that I understand were provided to original owners. I have a 1966 230SL and it has a brass(?) medallion that is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter and has very artful initials on it. Can you speak to these ?
Thanks,
Harry

Harry,
Does it have km/mi indicator on it. These were awarded by MB at specific high mileage intervals.
The only other item I am aware of is a badge for European delivery, but not sure when those were given. I picked up a 2005 E wagon in Stuttgart and got one then.

I posted this before but since the subject came up, here is a picture (which has been edited:-) of the "Owner's Plate" that I received from the dealer when I got my 280SL. Not sure if it was from Fort Lee or just the dealer.

I forgot about those. I got one when I purchased a 1985 190E. They were discontinued sometime after that.
