Dave has a wealth of knowledge and experience that is obvious when you work with him, but, I too have had difficulties getting in touch with him.
There are alternatives.
I don't mean to play favorites, but in some cases it is best to go to the source ... the Mercedes Benz Classic Center (btw, I have no affiliation with them .. except for ownership of an old Pagode,  ;D  )

I have been trying to reach Dave for aver a month. The last time I talked to him, he said he was bitten twice by a recluse spider and was recovering.
He was to call me back for an order and I have called and e-mailed several times. Has anyone talked with Dave or knows what happened to him?
I am concerned that something is wrong and no one knows it.

This may not help much ... but ... I met Dave in September this year and communicated with him in October ... then I could not reach him.   However, I did contact a Pagoda Specialist in Los Angeles that Dave delivers parts to regularly and this specialist advised me that Dave is fine and he sees him often.   This was about 3 or 4 weeks ago.  Dave really helped me out in a pinch but it seems he's sporadic with communication ... I was concerned about him until I heard from the Mechanic.
