Mercedes Benz Classic Magazine will publish in its first 2013 issue aver story: "The Mercedes-Benz SL Pagoda turns 50".
Obviously, in 2013 we can expect many media to celebrate the birth of our lovely ones, but given the quality and excellent standing of the magazine, I am sure that our cars will be presented in a very superlative light by MBCM :)
The issue is due on March 13 2013.
For those who do not know this publication which is I believe linked to the MB Classic Centre in Stuttgart, it is published 4 times/year: separately in English and in German. More info at http://kontaktmodul.mercedes-benz-classic.com/magazin/index

I spoke with Paul Bracq today about this very magazine and issue: they had called him and wanted to bring him to Lake Lugano, and take some photos with him and some Pagodas by the lake side. Then they decided on another venue, to be announced, and he his waiting for the call!!!

In such a case if it was for that article only it is definitely worth subscribing.... Cannot wait ;)
I am sure other publication will proliferate as they did for the 60th anniversary of SL 300 this year.

If you join the Mercedes Benz Club in the UK (£30.00 per annum), then you get this magazine included in the subscription as well as the very good 'Gazette', which is a full colour monthly publication.
In addition (and more importantly) there are loads of events run by the club, so you can extend your network of MB drivers and (most important) have more excuses to drive your car!
You also get free access into the MB Museum in Stuttgart (half price for guests)

sounds like a real deal. MBCM's subscription is nearly that amount, so it seems that Gazette is coming for free :)
