Can anyone advise how much different papyrus white (717) is to white (050).
If anyone could post a good quality picture of a papyrus white pagoda, that would be a great help.
Thanks Rob

www.113.mbz.org has paint chips, but their site seems to be down
The 050 is a Bone white and the Papy is a Pearl [gray] white.
The 717 seems to have a richer Tone to it......

Here is a site that works from Glasurit .
It is the 121 cars, but they used the same 050 and 717.

You could also take a look at www.paintscratch.com and navigate to the colors section. I just bought some touch up from them, and they were very good to deal with.

Arthur - if that is your car in the "717" photo, you might want to consider painting the lower rocker panels flat black ("body schutz") since it makes the car appear "lighter" and that's the way they came from the factory. It seems cars in the UK oftentimes have this lower section body color.

Yes , I know..
I have both paint versions and I prefer the body color..
The Schutz gives it a choppy look [preference.]
This one is my driver, so purity is not an issue..
Note that the side rear trim is also eliminated [ althought they are in the trunk ]

I am looking at a white car code #050 from Schmitt Motors which is on Ebay now. This car appears to be a bone or off-white and not a bright or "appliance" white. The Data plate shows 050, does anyone know if 050 is an "appliance white" or is it an off white? I want to make sure this car hasn't had a color change for the money they want. Thanks, Dennis Zanone

Take a look at ivory. Check this website www.dearbornauto.com he has two 113s one is described as white the other is ivory. Good luck!

Thanks guys the paintscratch website was particularly good.
The Papyrus does seem to be a good colour.

Ebay 280 050 paint auctcion number is 2483629700 the one on www.oursl.com sayse it is 050 and looks "appliance" white. Which is the correct white bone or appliance? Thanks for the help on this.

050 is a bone white
There is no Appliance white .
If you look at the Glasurit mix charts , you will see the colors they use in the mix
If it were a pure white [which I assume is Appliance] , it would only use weiss in the mix.
The pictures on ebay , or anywhere else, are hard to tell cuz the ones taken in the sun look very bright, but the shade ones seem to be truer ...
If you look at the Painscratch charts, you can see the bone/antique hue of 050 and you can see the gray hue of the 717...

Thanks, I hoped that color code #050 had a bone tint and not a pure white or "appliance" white look.
