Hi to everyone....My name is Jorge, and I am a new member from Mexico City.
I am trying to find parts diagrams and numbers (complete car) for a 280 SL...for a while I had access to Startek, but cannot renew for some odd reason.
Can somebody tell me where I can find parts diagrams with numbers that will match those used by Classic Center Parts dept?
Many thanks in advance !!!!

You need a MB Parts List book, They come up on eBay occasionally or you could put a wanted advert here in the Wanted Section of the Forum.

Hi Jorge,
the best way for me so far was to subscibe to epc-online.
There you'll find all the parts and numbers. ;)
As an induvidual (not a dealer) the subscription is for free, however, you'll need to renew yearly.
Good luck and welcome to the group.
I love this group and I am pretty new here too.

Hi Jorge,
You need this one:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1971-MERCEDES-280-SL-250-sl-OWNERS-PARTS-MANUAL-SERVICE-W-113-1969-1970-/310576583566?pt=Motors_Manuals_Literature&vxp=mtr&hash=item484fce938e
Thats the dealers part book for 250SL and 280SL. Note that the engine parts are not included in this book. That`s a seperate book.

EPC on line is the best.
It has all the parts for all over the world.
It is $25 per year in the USA.
I could never get it for free here. Maybe the free subscription is for the rest of the world.
I have used it for years and could find any part I wanted.
