Title: Manual trans conversion: what to do with the starter lock out wiring ?
Post by: GGR on October 20, 2012, 23:32:34
Hi all,

I have converted my car from auto to manual trans. The wires that were going to the trans are now temporarily lying unconnected on the driver's floor. When I turn the key I have contact but I can't actuate the starter. Can someone tell me what are the wires that were going to the trans/starter lock out that I should be connecting together please? What color codes?

Thanks in advance !

Whilst I cannot answer your question directly, as a full member you have access to the colour wiring diagrams

Thanks. This is helpful. I finally sorted out the issue as I was looking at the wrong wires in the wrong place. Starter now cranks when I turn the key.
