Title: Heel pad availability?
Post by: SL113fan on June 29, 2004, 10:53:32

The tech evaluation page on the OURSL site implies that replacement heel pads are available (the vinyl pad on the driver's side carpeting).  Is this true and if so, who can supply it?

Thx.

It's available aftermarket (no 113 # underneath the gas pedal). Contact the usual sources liike GAHH et al

As a follow-up to this thread, the heel pad I acquired from GAHH did not come close to fitting--despite their claims to the contrary.  It requires extensive trimming to accommodate the throttle pedal base and the curvature of the transmission tunnel.  Would I be able to trim it properly on the first try--probably not.  :(

Anyone have any advice on who could recreate a heel pad, part numbers and all? I have a frail original to work from, plus I have a near perfect W108 pad to work with as well.
