My power steering pump failed and is not usable. Any suggestions for where to find a replacement unit? Miller's Incorporated is the only website I've found that offers rebuilt units.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have a pump from a sedan that is identical and good working condition. pm me if interested.

Rich,
Power steering pumps for Mercedes (in the USA) are generally rebuilt by C&M in Las Vegas. https://plus.google.com/102352018372402772414/about?gl=us&hl=en
However they only wholesale; if you don't like Miller's there are quite a few others that will supply a C&M rebuilt with core charge.
If they don't have it in stock, they can probably take the core and send for a rebuild.

Thanks so much for these responses. They are very helpful. I have to get a service tech to pull my unit to determine whether I've got a straight or conical output shaft.

Most of the 230SLs have a straight shaft. They will intechange, however you will need the conical pulley also if you switch to the conical pump.

...and oh, by the way, the guy who runs C&M (Chris is his name, I believe) spent some time on the phone with me a couple of years ago, and is (as you would imagine) pretty knowledgable about these pumps. Moreover, he can point you to the people that have one in stock. He was happy to check records for me, and told me call XYZ company, I just shipped them X units...
It's always nice to chat with knowledgable people who don't find it a bother to explain and talk about their products...

Happy Ending!!
I had my power steering pump and pulley replaced today at my local MBZ dealer. I got a rebuilt C&W pump from AutohausAZ and a new replacement pulley from JRBenzshop on eBay. Was the straight shaft pump with matching pulley.
All of you advice was invaluable!!

Curious as to how much labor time MB charged for this?

Looks like I was billed for five and a half hours. A little more than I would have expected but I'm not an expert.
