Title: headlight bulbs references
Post by: Flyair on August 31, 2012, 22:33:00
As part of restoration of my Pagoda, I bought Euro style headlamps and started to buy bulbs. For that I tried to use instructions from the Technical Manual. However, out of the 5 bulbs needed per side, I was not able to find out what bulbs should go into fog lamps and turn indicators. Indications in Technical Manual refer to original references and it is hard to "translate" it into modern references. is anyb

I am aware that the subject was already discussed from time to time, but neither the Tech Manual nor any post lists modern references in one place. Is anybody able to provide modern codes for the bulbs?
many thanks
Stan

Original Indicator/Stop/Reversing Light bulbs were 18 watt but are very hard to find these days. Alternative are standard 21 watt.

Spend the extra $$ for the upgraded bulbs from Daniel Stern.  Big difference!

Thanks a lot for both advices. It helps and I plan to pass the order. It is true that good bulbs make a difference. Even though it is not used by night or in bad weather, it jus look more proud (so is his owner too  ;))
