Title: 230SL Drive Shaft Vibration

My 1966 230SL has a vibration that starts at 40MPH and ends at 46 MPH. It is worse when it is cooler out and if I do not drive the car hard. If I give the car the " Italian tune up" as soon as it is up to temp the vibration is much less noticebale.I think it is the steady bearing of the two piece drive shaft. Any input on this would be helpful!!
