Here some more pictures.

Very nice Ger, thanks for posting. Pictures are always welcome. What colour is the body, 050 white or 717 white?
-
It's 050 Jordan.
-
Hello Jordan,
Nice car and I love the color combination (I have the same combination but with Cognac interior). Enjoy your "new" Pagode :)

Thanks John, yours look greats too. I bought the car last week here in the Netherlands but it is coming original from North Carolina and made 72.600 miles.
The softtop and carpets are new and the car has had a repaint on the outside, under the bonnet is everything original, also the paint and the firewal pad.
They changed the USA headlights into Euro's and removed the side deflectors
I will get the car in about two weeks, it has to be checked for the new dutch plates.
I'm looking forward to get it.
By the way it's a beautiful Forum here, I learned alot here about the W113.
Greetings: Ger.

Sorry Gerster, I referred to you as Jordon. Old age is creeping up on me >:(
John

Doesn't matter John. What's old?
-
I was 24 when I bought my SL, Sept 18, 1968, Do the Math:-)
John

What I wanted to say that someone could be old by 50 and another person by 75. It's just the way you feel it.

Hello Rick, I will surely come to you so you can have a look at it. I hope you like it.
Car is going to the RDW tomorrow so I hope to have it at the end of next week.
You surely have a lot to do at your car but I'm sure you will fix it.
Greetings: Ger.

I still have to wait for my car, it didn't get his Registration because some paper was missing from the US Title, seller says everything will come it's only a delay of some weeks.
Very disappointing for me.
-
Ahh-ha, that's why you have the US bumper-etts. Don't worry gerster, in no time at all, the paperwork will be done - and between drives, you'll be looking for things to "futz" with :D
Drive & enjoy her in the best of health.
Cheers, Hank
-
Thanks. Hank.
Cheers, Ger.
-
Car had it's Registration now, so I hope to get the car next Saturday.
-
I finally got my car last week. There's still something to do on it I've noticed.
-
Gerster,
There is always something to do on it even when you think it is finished.
Nice car, enjoy.
Garry

Thanks Garry.

Here with hardtop.

Garry, Nice pictures of your beautiful Pagoda. It is if my car had a twin "sister" :-)

Gerster,
The paint color comes as a surprise to me! Check out my 670 Ivory car PWW. (pre-white walls). Looks very close.
Happy Motoring!

Here some pics of my beauty I made this weekend, on the last picture my other beauty, my daughter, she likes the Pagoda too.
-
Hello Ger,
Very nice pics indeed (also the last one .... :o )
BTW, yours is a 1970 you claim...
why does it miss headreasts - as a US-delivery car ...?? ??? :o ???
It's after serial 004052 isn't it?
Best,
Achim
-
I don't know Achim, the car is build in 9/69 and sold in 1970.
-
Ger, you should really join the European Event... you can see my car and it will make you realise how good your is... And Rick's will be all shiny and new...
-
Sadly I can't make it in September Peter, maybe next time. I'll hope you all have a nice time overthere.
Make pictures for the forum please so we can see what we've missed.

First open ride this year. What a joy!
-
Gerster,
Nice! I'm still worried to drive around as it hasn't rained much since the last spray of salt for snowy roads here in Hilversum... I'll wait till it's rained, and then dried up again before I get mine out...
But my car has been in hiding since november... that's over 5 months now, I don't usually leave it that long.

My Pagode went to v.Dijk today to fix some problems. Hope to get it back soon!
At that moment there were 3 Pagodas overthere for maintenance, a 190SL and a beautiful gullwing for restoration.
-
My Pagoda has a bodyguard has you can see!
-
Finally good weather in the Netherlands.
-
My car will go to van Dijk saturday for some technical problems, the powersteering is leaking oil and the cooling system is not good, car is getting hot in slow traffic.
Hope they can fix it for a reasonable price!
Greetings: Ger.

Last summer drive in the Netherlands I'm afraid!

Hi,
I have been looking at a Pagoda that has been resprayed. The car is in Zimbabwe. I think the 050 G refers to the colour. Its a 1970. Can you let me know what the codes mean on the attached photograph?
Its been resprayed as per picture. I would like to revert it back to its original colours. Seats are dark blue.

Brian, Welcome to the forum. The 050 G means original body colour is white. The āGā is for Glasurit, the paint supplier. The 040 G means the original top was black, also Glasurit. As for the first line of codes on the paint plate, 426 is for automatic transmission and power steering. 491 is for US version, 503 is for left hand outside mirror and 515 is for Becker AM/FM radio, US version.
All this information is in the Technical Manual, third tab from the left above. I suggest you become familiar with the Technical Manual which contains a world of information. There are some restricted sections which you can access by becoming a full member, a bargain at USD30.00.
Did you purchase the car or are you just looking? Keep us posted and again welcome to the forum.
