Title: What are these relays?

Dear All
I would like to know what these three relays are attached in the picture.
Appreciate your advice, while I think that these are related to the emission control.
My pagoda 280sl 1968 is a USA version. Thank you.

... although there are different versions thereof with more and more emission control with the later years.

230ies and early 250ies (both US) don't have anything thereof.

Achim, Thank you for your advice and infomation.

In the mean time, I also find some similar threads regarding the emission contrl system in which I am afraid to ask similar questions.

My observation through those threads is;
(1) #1: Vacuum retard valve,
(2) #2: Speed sensor,
(3) #3 ? I am still not sure about #3,
(4) Although I wish to kill or disconnect those relays from the system, are there any problem associated with it?
      It seems me to be no problem even without tbose relays learning from the thread.
