Hi Eryck,

Weird. ???
That's not normal.

Pusching the turnsignal lever towards the steering column should activate only the wipers, nothing more.
Washer pump to be activated by pressing the lever forward - as indicated in the Owner's Manual.

If both engage whilst switching only one function, most likely the wiper-engaging mechanism (or electrical mechanism) in the base of the wiper stalk is malfunctioning. Can be disassembled and checked.

Or - if you have - try another wiper and indicator switch. Then you know for sure.

Good luck!

Sounds like it's worn out or something is broken inside the switch. Once they screw up you're looking at a replacement. Sometimes you can fix small problems but there are no replacement parts.

I have a new one in stock if you find it can't be fixed.
