Title: 280 SL 1968 soft top , rear bow will not come out of box?

Hi,

unfortunately I can not get my soft top up completely because the rear bow is stuck in the box! I tried everything so far but it will not budge! The rest moves ok up and down but the last piece is stuck! Any ideas??

Hi Bill,

Welcome to the Group.

This is an often occurring item such that it is well covered in the technical manual in the Soft Top area.

Have a read through the whole soft top chapter as there are a few do's and dont's there for the uninitiated.
