Recently a mechanic friend asked me to help him clean out his old parts storage and we ran across a lot of parts that are apparently from a 250 SL. They had a bunch of other cars parts mixed in with them so I'm not entirely sure all of the parts I took pictures of are for the Benz. Apparently, about 20 years ago a man brought the car to my friend for restoration. After the car was taken apart for paint and to have the drivetrain rebuilt, the owner died. The car was then tied up in his estate and sold just as it set and the parts were left sitting in his shop. I'm just going to link my flickr account where you guys can look through them and tell me if I have anything that isn't Benz. I'm not trying to sell anything, just trying to figure out what years the parts will fit and make sure I don't have a bucket full of Corvair parts.

I also have some engine parts that I will get pictures of and list in the engine forum section.

Velle, they look like all Pagoda parts to me. It looks like you raided the parts trays on the assembly line in Germany. No Corvair parts.

Will sure agree that these appear to be 113 items. Be watchful of the blank off plate with the 250 SL logo, those are RARE indeed.
-
That is a radio delete plate right?
-
They appear to be 230/250SL and most will also fit 280SL parts in fair condition but some pitting. As Tom said the radio delete plate is hard to get and probably the higher priced item in these parts. There are some B pillar caps but I am not sure if they are from a Mercedes?

I think I have a full set of Inner door trim with this alignment holes. I also have a latch that fits one of these alignment holes (only have 1 of them). I polished some of the pieces with a very light compound but made sure not to cut any. Most of the pieces are good to very good driver quality.
As for mechanical pieces, I have a set of motor mounts. One of which has an oil pump?/filter still attached. I also have a throttle body and a manual shifter (not sure if it's a 4 or 5 speed). As for the radiator tank, any clue if that's for the 113 models? From the diagrams I've seen they are supposed to look different.
Chances are, I'm going to list the radio delete plate, the air vents, and the inner door chrome sets first. These will fit all 113 models right?

Other than the Delete plate the rest (The B Pillar caps that I don't know what they are from) will fit all W113's
I believe there were three different radiators, one for the 230 , a larger/wider one in the 250 and then the smaller 280 with the oil cooler beside it. Then you have the top and bottom tanks depending on manual or Auto which uses the bottom tank for cooling.
Here is a link to a 250 radiator http://www.mercedesheritage.com/classifieds/viewlisting.php?view=1259

I don't think there are any B-pillar chrome caps, but chrome trim pieces around the door locks. They fit all models.

You are right Alfred, I missed the shape and should have realised when there were the pieced that hold the door cards below them.
-
The radiator overflow tank is definitely from a 230SL. I'm not sure if that stye is also used on the 250, but the barrel style is on the 280.

The barrel type tank is not exclusive to 113's and is used on some 110 and 108 sedans. The pancake styled tank seems to be only used on 230SL's.

I took a bunch more pictures of the rest of the parts which are being added to my flickr page right now. I got the go ahead to list a few parts on Ebay and see how they sell. You can view my items at http://www.ebay.com/sch/kenpartin52/m.html?item=180841356773&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&_trksid=p3984.m1586.l2649&_trksid=p4340.l2562.

The vents you show are fresh air vents. AC never came out of those things.
The over flow tank is definately for a 230SL. My dealers parts book only shows the bullet type for 250/280SL. I'd change that to be more correct.
They look like decent parts to me.
