Title: Spring has arrived in UK
Post by: Alf on March 11, 2012, 13:16:51: Spring has sprung, the sun is out, the hardtop off. There is nothing like the 1st drive of the year with the top down.

Here, in Northern California, after enjoying really nice weather for most of the winter, will be battening down the hatches this week for a fairly large storm coming in off the Pacific. Even though this means keeping my car safely tucked away in the garage for awhile, we really need the rain and snow up in the mountains.
It won't be long though before the top gets hoisted off and we too will hitting the road with the wind in my hair (what's left of it:-)

Museum entrance is free but parking charges are payable.
At least 50 MBs have signed up so far on the Club Forum.

Its such an addictive driving experience.

I spent last weekend giving the car a good service and a re application of waxoyl - which I do every 2 years.

With my new wood steering wheel, im ready for another summer.

The choice is always difficult when I open the garage and decide between the pagoda and the R107 500.
