The new 230SL I have recently purchased has the wrong hub caps on it that are for a 280SL.
Reading the Tech Manual it indicates that the wheel should be painted on the outside the body colour and the cap should be painted the hard top colour.
Given that my body colour from the data cars is 334G and the hard top a contrasting 350H, am I correct is interpreting it as the wheels should be painted the light Blue and the hub cap inners painted the Medium blue?

Garry, wheel colour should be 334G and hub caps 350H.

Thanks Jordan,
Has anyone else done the dual wheel/hubcap colour that can provide a photo to see what it looks like. Any colour will do.

Michael Benet's nice 230 is one example.

Thanks Dave,
That was exactly what I was looking for with the hardtop and the WW tires.

I don't mind that look if you have the hard top on. Should you never use your hard top or don't even have one, I would paint the hub caps body colour.
Given that most people, including 113 owners, won't even know this small fact, your car will look like someone grabbed your hubs caps so you stuck something else on to cover the wheels. For the most part, they look out of place on a car that has a totally diffrent colour than the caps.
