Title: Rocker panel colour

Paint for the rocker panel

My car is about to go in for colour coat in the next week and the panel beater asked me about the colur/texture/finish of the rocker panel - between the wheel wells -below the doors.

The tech manual has a bit of discussion ie that its black.  However can I try for concensus: confiming that its black, sprayed over an underlayer of body schutz -yes no -  and is gloss/satin/flat.

Go to motoringinvestments.com  and scroll down to the Mercedes page about 4 or 5 cars down is a white SL that is completely original and offered for sale at $175,000 near the bottom of the pictures is a group of picture or the rockers that show texture, color and gloss.

I had found the thread in the Tech manual - I guess thats why I asked for a concensus (lol) -thanks for taking the time to point it out though.

The web site is great and I shall send the panel beater the link - as that saying goes about pictures and a 1000 words.........
