Thought you would enjoy this period photo from today's Age newspaper here in Melbourne. www.theage.com.au.

The jist of the photos (there were about 6 or so) is what has disappeared or is busy disappearing from cars. The Pagoda shot - 230 or 250 by the shape of the horn ring - shows the cassette player.  ;)

I read that article and saw the picture, I don't think it was the cassette tape player that was going missing or cassettes falling out :o

It actually looks like a 70's 8 track bolt on under the dash with the original Becker behind/above

It's a 230. The square weave carpet is two-tone black and white which only earlier 230ies had with selected interior codes (until 012466).
MB-Tex seats. Nice.   ;)

If I were her, I'd kick that old cassette player out of the SL and get an iPod line-in for her Blaupunkt or whatever that radio is.   ;D

I think there's a problem with the high-beam control.
