Title: Yorkshire Members?
Post by: Markbhai on February 14, 2012, 22:07:31
As I drive around Yorkshire I had come to the conclusion that there are not many Pagoda owners around who live in Yorkshire, England.  To some degree this makes me happy  ;D, as I know that I am driving a unique car, but to another degree it also means that there is a limited social scene  :(.

I live in Queensbury on the outskirts of Bradford, West Yorkshire.  I have a 1967 230 SL Pagoda and would welcome the opportunity to meet up with other owners (in summer) to share notes and compare experiences.

I already know of one member 'reggie' who is local.

Why not drop a note on here stating how close you are and maybe we will get enough people together to organise a meet.

Regards

Mark.

My car was registered in Durham and th efirst owner was a pro Cricketter, he died without any children unfortunately.  I know the 3rd owner (who I bought from) he was also "famous" in that he was the Chairman of Nat West Bank, and was responsible for the sale to RBS (Sir david Rowland),  Unfortunately I know very little about the second owner I have his name and address in the 1980s but I have a dead trail.
