Title: Injection pump and pressure regulator connections
Post by: Ron on February 01, 2012, 02:02:43
Hi, I'm finally putting the correct 230SL injection pump onto my 230SL.  At present it has a 250SL injection pump, and the piping is a bit different.  From what I gather from the SLS page:

http://www.sls-hh-shop.de/index.php/language/en/cat/c3_Mercedes-Benz-230SL-250SL-280SL-Pagoda--R113-W113-.html#cat_58_position_57_prod_0

The fuel from the tank pump goes first to the fuel filter -> injection pump back connection (flare) -> through injection pump body -> injection pump front connection (banjo) -> center of pressure regulator -> side of pressure regulator to return to tank.

Do I have this correct?

If so, I'm missing the banjo (hollow) bolt (57) and female banjo fitting with pipe that is not labeled but connects to hose 58, which I have.  Anyone have that pipe and banjo bolt they could sell?

BTW, the front connection (female banjo) is labeled "overflow valve" and I wonder if that is a second pressure regulator in the system?   Ron
