Alex,
As I recall, the bushings are white nylon circles. Basically, they look like Lifesavers candy. Achim (also in this group) and I changed mine and used white grease in an aeresol can for lubrication.

Alex,
My bushings on the gear lever were okay, so I just turned the circlip around so that the square edge was in the groove at about 1 o'clock where it gets hit every time you select reverse or first gear. I did not use any lubricant.
The two smaller outer bushings in the rectangular carrier plate did need replacing.
