I've just acquired a lovely low mileage 1982 w123 200 saloon and want to find the colour and options off the data card, is there a website anywhere that anyone knows of to assist?
Thanks in advance

Our own Technical Manual (http://www.sl113.org/wiki/DataCard/Start) (see tabs at top of your screen)?

Thanks Peter, I had looked there but with the car being later than the 113's, some of the codes, including the colour, are unknown. The options which cross reference - if i'm correct, are 422, 503, 524, 533 and 613. The car is a fairly basic one i'm sure but is in such lovely condition I'd like to know more!, attached is a copy of the data card if anyone can help
Thanks again

Sorry Neil... I completely missed the W123 bit...

Neil,
If my interpretation of your datacard is correct, then we are looking at the following:
422 - power steering
467 - central locking and instruments with English lettering
503 - outside rearview mirror left
524 - paint coat preservation
533 - interference suppression without radio set
542 - lockable glove compartment
593 - green heat-insulating glass all round, heated rear window, single pane safety glass tinted strip
613 - lamp unit asymmetrical for left hand traffic
656 - michelin tires
666 - 10 litres of fuel and mode of packing
286 - luggage nets on front seat backrests
876 - rear door contacts and lamp above rear window
I also see that the tires are specified as Continental under the heading "reifen" on the card. Maybe it was changed afterwards or code 656 means something else that I don't know of.

Thanks for your help Jaco, it looks all good to me and appears to match the car!, there are two other codes on the card, hopefully the colour and trim 934 and 035 can you help with them? the car to me is similar to Medium Blue on a 113 with beige trim and is original.
Regards Neil

Neil, I believe code 035 is for Radio Becker Gran Prix 2000 RDS and code 934 is for China Blue. Others can correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks Marcus, the radio has been changed to an '80s alpine radio cassette with built in graphic equalizer! Old but not original so will have a look for the Becker one, might be easier than a 113 radio to source
Thanks again

Right Jaco and Marcus, see if your source of knowledge can tell me what's on the body tag attached as you both seem 100% so far!
Thanks in advance

Neil, you will notice most of the numbers on the trim card are also on your data card. The 3 digit numbers in a column on the right are option codes. The colour code is also there (934). By the way, code 656 could also refer to parchment.

Thanks again Marcus, I do now see the duplicated numbers. Parchment trim does look good for code 656 as the car has a new Continental tyre.
