I recently had the seat covers and pads replaced on my car. Looks great, but lately I've noticed a very annoying squeak from the drivers side seat bottom. Any ideas for getting rid of the squeak without taking the seats back apart.

There are only four bolts that hold the seat in place and it is really easy to remove The seat base is fairly simple and it could be any one on a number of areas that metal that could be rubbing metal in the springs
The photo is under a seat to give you an idea what is under there. The orange being some noodle that I put in to firm up the seat.

Garry--
Ingenious solution!
That's what we call "using your noodle".

I see on the forum to use a noodle to protect the soft top when folded, now I see that it can help improve a driver's seat.
:-* Is there no end to the usefullness of these things! :-*

I removed the seat and found the problem. A broken spring end at the attachment to the seat frame on the inside of the seat. Upholsterer provided a three prong clamp that crimps around the broken area. No more squeak with the seat out of the car. I hope that remains the case after re-install. Thanks again for the help.
